The Ultimate Way to Explore the Bay
San Francisco, for all its beauty and charm, is still a concrete-clad city. While you can find respite in Golden Gate Park, the Presidio or the beaches along the pacific, there’s no escape into true marine wilderness that’s more accessible than Crane Cove Park.
Once on the Bay, within moments, you’re likely to encounter: seals, herons, cormorants, pelicans, sea lions, bat rays, harbor porpoise and a slew of other friendly critters. And… the views of the city are simply breathtaking. Very few visitors to the Bay Area have experienced the privilege of exploring this environment.
Our equipment rentals do require that you have basic experience in paddle boarding or kayaking. The Bay isn’t for beginners without taking a lesson first. That said, once you rent, we’ll help you plan out an incredible paddle experience with route suggestions and tips to remain safe.
Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekdays (by appointment) and weekends (we get busy).
Demo Program
Try before you buy. We offer top-of-the-line rentals because all of our equipment is also for sale in the shop. Everything we rent is a product we love, recommend, and will stand behind. Ask us to tell you us more about why we carry any specific product.
Our demo program will credit the price of a two-hour rental session toward the purchase of that equipment. If you’d like to try multiple products, just ask us if you can switch in the middle of your two-hour session. If we have the available models, we’ll happily swap.
Advanced bookings are required. Just rent as you normally would and let us know that you’re planning to demo the product you rented.
