San Francisco’s Waterfront Sauna + Cold Plunge
Heat up. Cool down. Repeat.
Our sauna and plunge offer a simple, powerful reset by the Bay—designed for recovery, stress relief, and that post-session glow.
Think of us as a waterfront reset zone, not a luxury spa. Hot sauna (180º-200º) and cold plunge (~40-55º) with good energy, music, and vibes. Starting at $25, we’re the best deal in town, by far.
All of our sessions are one hour, with time for 2-3 cycles, including sun bathing on our patio when possible (it’s always sunny in Dogpatch, right?). Start your routine with our insanely affordable memberships.
Functional Contrast Therapy
The science is clear: alternating heat + cold can help reduce soreness, support circulation, and sharpen mood and focus. The magic isn’t complicated—it’s consistency, and the contrast.
A solid first pass: 10–15 minutes in the sauna → 1–3 minutes in the plunge → rest + breathe → repeat. Most guests land 2–3 rounds in an hour, adjusting the cold to their comfort and the day’s energy.
If you’re serious about taking care of yourself, nothing will pay off more than some solid me-time in our little oasis.

SAUNA + COLD PLUNGE FAQs
-
Access to our waterfront spa area at Crane Cove Park, including showers, lockers, and a changing room. Come as you are, rinse off after, and take your time getting back to real life.
-
Sauna Only is the barrel sauna session.
Sauna + Plunge includes sauna plus access to our in-house cold plunge.
Either way, you can also do the classic version and dip in the bay (a short walk away).
-
Public = you book by the spot and may share the sauna with others (up to 4 total).
Private = you reserve the whole sauna for your group (up to 4). You can come with 1–4 people — it’s private either way.
-
If you book Sauna + Plunge (Public), you’ll share plunge access with others in your session window. Most people naturally rotate; just keep it friendly and take turns. (And if you want zero coordination, book Private.)
-
We aim for a true cold reset — around 40°F (subject to minor variation based on ambient conditions and usage).
-
A simple starting point: 10–15 minutes sauna → plunge 1-2 minuted → rest → repeat.
Most people love 2–3 rounds. New to cold? Start with 10–30 seconds and build from there.
-
Right now, plunge access is offered as part of Sauna + Plunge. If you’re specifically looking for plunge-only, ask us — if demand is strong, we’ll consider adding it.
-
Swimwear, towels, and something cozy for after. We recommend flip flops if you plan to plunge in the bay. Showers are available on site, and lockers/changing room make it easy.
-
We suggest bringing your own towels. They are required inside the sauna and in between wet stations. You might want to have two. Towels are available for $2.
-
Totally. You don’t need to be a sauna person or a cold plunge person already. Start easy, listen to your body, and make it your own pace.
-
Sauna + cold can feel intense — hydrate, don’t push through dizziness, and take breaks. If you’re pregnant, have cardiovascular concerns, or have any condition where heat/cold is a question, check with your doctor first.
